The primary umbrella for Kunga Yoga is Hatha yoga physical practices, with an emphasis on Vinyasa and specialty classes. Instruction is provided in a “big picture” format of Hatha yoga, with a “smaller picture” introduction into the practice of athletic classes such as Vinyasa Flow, Power Flow, and Detox practices, as well as meditation, senior yoga, prenatal, kids, therapeutic restorative and more. Yogic lifestyle, professional ethics, vegan living, anatomy and physiology, assisting and pranayama are covered in detail.

2024 3 Month Training Format – In Person only
The three month format meets at our location in Greenville, NC, for five weekends over the course of three months (Friday evening through Sunday evening, and Wednesday evenings). This format is geared towards yogis who would like to take more time to assimilate the covered material and dive deeply into the suggested practices and texts in order to fully comprehend the material and to weave the experiences into their daily lives.

MEETING HOURS
Fridays: 5p – 9p
Saturdays: 11:30a – 6:30p
Sundays: 11:30a – 5:30p

ADDITIONAL EXPECTATIONS
There are additional hours required for the completion of this program and participants can expect weekly “homework” that will amount to an average of 3-5 additional hours per week. More details will be included in your welcome email.
GRADUATION
Upon completion, one is qualified to register for RYT 200 with Yoga Alliance. You will be skilled in the following but not limited to: yoga philosophy, yoga asana, hands on assisting, pranayama, meditation, anatomy & physiology, sequencing and instructing a yoga class.
REQUIREMENTS
Potential Teacher Trainees should have a minimum six months of dedicated yoga practice, preferably a year of regular yoga practice either in a studio, home, or both.

Enrollment is confirmed on the date you secure your $500 desposit. All deposit payments are automatically enrolled in payment plan.

ATTENDANCE + REFUND POLICY
In the event you have signed up for the program and need to withdraw, you may no less than 30 days before the program start date and will receive a 50% refund of monies paid thus far minus deposit. Deposits and payments are for the 2022 200hr Yogic Studies and Teacher Training only and are nonrefundable and nontransferable to another individual, service, training program, or future training date.
